Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28 Oct 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect through our Websites and services, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We are based in Australia and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Many of our readers live in the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries, so we also follow the privacy and email laws that protect them.

Defined Terms

When the first letter of a word is capitalised in this document, it has the specific meaning given below.

“We”, “Us” and “Our” refer to the Company.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Information

We collect only the information we need to communicate with you and deliver what you sign up for or buy.

Contact Information

When you fill out a form on our Websites, join our email list, or make a purchase, we collect the information you provide. This is usually your name and email address. We use it to communicate with you and to deliver our services, courses and digital products.

Anti-Burnout Audit

If you complete the Anti-Burnout Audit, we collect your answers and the contact details you enter. We use them to send you your results and to understand which topics are most useful to our audience. Your answers are about how you respond to pressure at work; please don’t include medical or mental health details in any free-text answers.

Financial Information

When you make a purchase, your payment details go directly to our payment processor. We see your name, email, billing address and what you bought, but we never see or store your full card or bank details.

Profile Information

When you buy a course or join a program, an account is created for you on the platform that hosts it, so you can access what you purchased.

Website Analytics

When you browse our Websites, analytics software records which pages you visit, how long you stay, and how you move around the site. It may also record your device and browser type, approximate location (country or city) and IP address. We use this information in summary form to improve the Websites and our content. We don’t use it to identify you personally.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file your browser stores so a website can recognise your device. Our Websites use two kinds:

  • Necessary cookies keep the site working, for example remembering your cookie choice.
  • Analytics cookies come from Google Analytics and help us understand how visitors use the site.

Analytics cookies load only if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings button on the Websites, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. We don’t currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Email Marketing

If you join our email list, we use your email address to send you articles, resources and information about our programs. We never sell, rent or trade your email address.

Our emails comply with the US CAN-SPAM Act, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the Australian Spam Act 2003. Every email identifies who it is from, includes our postal address and has an unsubscribe link. If you keep receiving emails after unsubscribing, please contact the Privacy Officer.

If you unsubscribe, you may still receive emails about programs or products you have bought, such as access details.

Who Sees Your Information

We share your information only with the service providers that help us run our business, or when the law requires it. These providers may store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States and the European Union.

Securing Your Information

We use reputable providers with industry-standard security, limit access to your information to what is needed, and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), as required by law.
