Ethical Commitments
The work we do at MZ Health Coaching and the Anti-Burnout Labs does not exist outside of social context.
Burnout is not only personal. It is shaped by systems: economic pressure, cultural expectations, structural inequality, and the ongoing impacts of colonisation. I do not position my work as a solution to systemic injustice. It is one small practice within a much larger landscape.
MZ Health Coaching and Anti-Burnout Labs, and their owner, Mihaela Zaharia, are committed to respectful, non-discriminatory practice. I welcome people of all genders, cultural backgrounds, neurotypes, body types, and life circumstances.
I do not tolerate intentional racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or discrimination in any form, while I am still learning how to not, unintentionally, engage in any of these, myself.
My approach to the work I do here is challenges hustle culture, healthism, and productivity narratives that often marginalise or shame people who cannot (or choose not to) perform at constant capacity.
I aim to use language that is accessible, clear, and non-pathologising. If I misstep, I am open to learning and correction.
This is an evolving commitment, not a completed statement.
