Small, useful experiments

When “try harder”
no longer works.

You can care deeply about your work and your life outside work, and still find yourself pushing past your limits, putting things off, or thinking in circles.

Anti-Burnout Labs is a space to explore your self-regulation patterns: how you respond to thoughts, emotions and demands, and how those responses shape your wellbeing every day. Your circumstances matter. So does what you want to happen next.

The approach

Less self-blame.
More useful information.

Awareness → Acceptance → Action.
A framework for learning what works for you.

Pressure shows up in your thoughts, your body and your business, so the tools here draw on psychology, biology and business. A public health lens keeps the focus on prevention: noticing patterns early, before they build up.

Step 1

Notice the pattern.

Catch what happens when work gets difficult. What do you do, what are you feeling, and what is the situation asking of you?

Step 2

Accept where you are.

Look at the pattern with curiosity and without blame. Recognising your current reality gives you somewhere practical to begin.

Step 3

Try one change.

Choose a small experiment that fits your capacity. Observe what happens, adjust, and keep what helps.

Let's try step 1

When work feels difficult,
what happens next?

Choose what feels familiar in your daily life. Treat it as a pattern to notice. You don’t need to label yourself.

Nothing you select here is collected or sent anywhere.

Want to look a little closer?

The Anti-Burnout Pattern Snapshot shows how you tend to respond to pressure in your thoughts, emotions and behaviour, and suggests which Lab to start with for free resources.

It takes about 5 minutes and starts by asking for your email. Your email and answers stay on your screen unless you choose to submit them. If you do, you’ll receive a personalised report on patterns that may be getting in the way, with a suggested exercise to try.

Meet the person behind the lab

Hello, I’m Mihaela.

I’m a certified health coach with a background in psychology, business, biology and public health. I created Anti-Burnout Labs to help entrepreneurs explore sustainable changes through awareness, acceptance and experimentation.

I value evidence, curiosity and your ability to decide what fits your life. The aim is to make your next step clearer and more workable.

Anti-Burnout Labs offers self-help education. It does not diagnose burnout or replace individual medical or psychological care.
